‘paquette lake’ is eight songs that have been with me for about two months. they came to fruition during the summer, in between long drives to national parks, on my few days off. paquette lake is found at the beginning of a long trail that leads you through softwoods and plateaus, located just past ingonish, in the highlands of cape breton.

I recorded these songs to cassette in early september.

needless object / when we met virtual 7" →

“These two songs found a home in “a break from the transit,” which was released by Banquet Ltd in February of 2012. I recorded these versions back in June of 2011, in hopes that they might make it to the 7” that I did with We Need Secrets. I changed my mind, and through leaves / beige tv made the cut. these tracks have been sitting on my harddrive taking up space, so when I saw them today and noticed that they were recorded over a year ago, I figured I’d do something with them right away.”
